This book is the third in a series of five books on Chess endings. This fundamental work explores different kinds of endings involving queens. Depending on the number and location involved in the fight pawns, material of the book includes both the elementary teaching positions and sophisticated graduation studies.
The book can be used as a teaching tool for acting out endings, as well as a reference in the analysis of adjourned games and when playing by correspondence. The book is intended for skilled players from the second level and above. This is a five volume master work by one of the world's leading authorities on the Chess Endgames, Grandmaster Yuri Averbakh.
